§ 10-88. Expiration of permit.

  • A burning permit shall expire on the date specified on the face of the permit and may not be extended; provided, in the case of a controlled burn permit, when the occurrence of adverse weather or a burn ban prevents the burn, the fire chief or his representative may extend the time period of the permit. In all other cases, once a burning permit has expired, a new application and fee payment is required to secure a new permit.
