§ 20-27. Membership; terms.

(a)

The city planning commission shall consist of nine (9) members appointed by the mayor and approved by the city council. They shall reside within the city limits and be qualified by knowledge or experience to act upon matters pertaining to the physical, social and economic development of the city.

(b)

All terms shall be for three (3) years and the terms shall expire on June first of such year. Appointments to fill vacancies shall be for the unexpired terms only. Five (5) members shall constitute a quorum.
