§ 25-3. Penalty; enforcement.

(a)

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter, or who shall fail to comply with any provisions hereof within the corporate or extraterritorial limits of the city, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00). Each day that such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable accordingly.

(b)

When directed, the city attorney shall instigate appropriate legal action to enforce the provisions of this chapter or the standards referred to herein with respect to any violation there, which occurs within the city, or within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the city.
