§ 2-27. Issuance of process by mayor.

The mayor shall have power to issue all process to bring persons and witnesses before the city council when necessary, in the exercise of the power conferred on him by law, and all such process shall run in the name of the state, be sealed with the seal of the city council, signed by the mayor and attested by the city clerk.
