§ 7-71. Exemptions of public utilities.

  • Nothing in this article shall be construed or interpreted as applying to any firm or corporation, or employee thereof, engaged in providing communication facilities to the public through a central office operated by it, or a firm or corporation, or employees thereof, engaged in the generation of electric current for distributing electric energy for light, heat, or power, or electricity-operated transportation.
