§ 10-80. Authority to prohibit burning when certain weather or atmospheric conditions exist.

  • When the weather and/or atmospheric conditions are such that in the opinion of the fire chief any burning within the city would constitute a fire hazard, the fire chief is authorized by public announcement to prohibit all burning with the city. Any person who shall burn contrary to the fire chief's directions shall be subject to the penalties provided in section 1-8.
