§ 15-4. Duties of clerk.

The municipal clerk shall be on duty at every session of the municipal court; shall docket the cases, swear witnesses, issue such papers as he may be called upon to issue, take acknowledgments, etc.; and shall comply with the state law in making bond for the faithful performance of his official duties, such bond to be in the amount as prescribed by the municipal judge.
